Job Summary
Provide emotional support and guidance to youth residing in a shelter; assist in developing and implementing individual support plans; facilitate group activities and workshops to promote social skills and personal growth; maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all residents; collaborate with staff and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support; monitor and document youth progress and report concerns; engage families and guardians to support reintegration into the community; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently; First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is an asset.
