Required Qualifications

  • Education completed Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Food Safe level 1 certification
  • First Aid Level 1 certification
  • A valid Drivers’ License and clean drivers abstract
  • Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully (The Salvation Army Abuse Registry, vulnerable sector check)
  • Criminal Records Check to be done at hire
  • Minimum one year’s experience in the Social Services field would be considered an asset
  • Post-Secondary certifications in related fields would be considered an asset
