Shelter Supervisor - Grave Shift - Naito Village

Oversee shelter shift operations and serve as the operational supervisor of shelter activities during grave shifts. Provide leadership, advocacy, information, and referral services to participants in emergency shelters; model positive leadership for shelter staff; promote teamwork and prioritize participant needs and success. Empower staff to take initiative, solve problems, deescalate crises, and maintain a safe space. Facilitate staff meetings, coordinate coverage, and support on-the-job training and guidance for Residential Advocates. Contribute to program design, implementation, and evaluation to increase access and efficiency, and act as the managing supervisor in the manager’s absence. Participate in staff hiring and performance evaluations, and ensure adherence to policies; assist with clocking, timecard approvals, and related processes. Requirements include First Aid/CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens/Narcan training within specified timelines; ability to work with diverse populations; strong communication and team-work skills; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or two years of social services experience, or one year at Transition Projects.
