Shelter Security Supervisor

Supervise security officers and assume first-line leadership duties during the Director of Operations' absence, including training staff, monitoring access control, and conducting facility rounds to detect hazardous situations and trespassers. Respond to emergencies in person, provide crisis intervention, and lead fire drills while ensuring daily security and fire safety system inspections. Complete daily security reports, review incident logs, check equipment inventory, and adjust staff schedules for sick calls or shortages. Maintain client and staff safety through active enforcement of policies and procedures. Requires a NYS Security Guard License, F02 Fire Guard Certificate, and CPR/AED certification. Flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime are necessary.
