Shelter Residential Manager (Day Shift - Hollywood)

Job Summary
Manage and coordinate direct care services for youth in the Safe Haven while supervising Resident Advisors, Security Officers, and volunteers. Provide daily oversight of shift operations, including medication distribution, facility cleanliness, and youth case plan follow-through. Conduct shift transition meetings, monitor time cards, and authorize emergency shelter placements in conjunction with leadership. Coordinate weekly scheduling for staff and security to ensure 7-day coverage, manage petty cash transactions, and lead monthly training initiatives. Assist in hiring procedures and update policy documents as needed. This role functions as supervisor for the Day Shift, requiring adherence to all agency policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 25 years old
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
- 1-3 years management/supervisory experience working within a residential setting
- Case management experience
- Knowledge of adolescent development
- Crisis intervention skills
- Part-R certification
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with members, clients, vendors and the public
- Ability to exercise appropriate authority when needed
- Good judgment in crisis situations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid CA driver license
- Reliable transportation
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Availability for weekend/holiday work
