Job Summary
Open and close Cornerstone House shelter at assigned hours while remaining on-site for the full shift from 6:00 pm to 8:30 am. Enforce COVID-related protocols, maintain facility cleanliness, and oversee resident duties. Communicate with the Business Manager, Caseworker, and Corps Officer regarding special situations, repairs, and room availability. Conduct monthly fire drills and report violations of shelter rules. Cover shifts on holidays and during inclement weather as needed. Uphold The Salvation Army mission and ministry standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher education
- Possess Organizational Skills
- Possess skills, experience and/or training to interact with clients at point of need
- First Aid Certification
- Must understand and appreciate the mission of The Salvation Army
