Job Summary
Shelter Ministry Support Staff provides guest intake and supervision, maintains safety and security of guests, staff, and facility, and coordinates volunteers across day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The role requires de-escalation, front-desk duties, supervising beds and meals, donor engagement, and adherence to program policies. Key skills include excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, leadership and teamwork, problem-solving, and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). The position is part-time (20 hours/week) at New Life Center in Fargo, ND, with a Christian mission focus and a BFOQ aligned to the organization’s faith-based context.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Must be engaged in a local church and exhibit a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
