Job Summary
UNHCR Shelter Associate based in Odesa to monitor emergency shelter materials, calculate response indicators, provide technical assistance to households receiving emergency materials, support field verification missions, reinforce monitoring of partners, and coordinate winterization activities across the Odeska, Mykholaivska, and Khersonska oblasts. The role involves ensuring proper replenishment planning for partner stocks, maintaining incident follow-up and record-keeping, and preparing analytical reports while collaborating with local authorities, implementing partners, and other stakeholders. The position requires a sound technical understanding of construction practice, project management, codes and standards, and the ability to work within a multi-national team in a humanitarian field setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Architecture or Construction Engineering (or other related field) is required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher
- Knowledge of English and Ukrainian languages is required
