Job Summary

Provide support, crisis intervention, and safety planning to individuals and families at the emergency shelter who have experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual assault. Answer crisis hotline calls and offer holistic advocacy services, including safety planning, resource referrals, and emotional support. Participate in case consultations, facilitate group activities, and maintain accurate service data. Requires one to two years of related experience, with preference for a bachelor’s degree and completion of sexual assault training. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Wednesday to Friday, 10 pm to 8 am.

Required Qualifications

  • One to two years related experience working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience in lieu of degree will be considered

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of 40-hour sexual assault training
