Job Summary
Perform preventative, routine, and minor maintenance on production and support machinery, executing changeovers on machines and associated support equipment as required. Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on malfunctioning machines, assisting Project, Process, and R&D Engineers in developing and troubleshooting new and revised products and processes. Act as a mentor to Operators and Technicians in training to ensure process integrity and best practices. Complete Hazardous Waste Management training within six months of entering the job and annually thereafter. Work 12-hour rotating day or night shifts with schedule assignments determined during the interview.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate or recognized equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following: Communicate effectively with other team members and supervision
- Read and comprehend process instructions
- Record pertinent process information as required
- Minimum of one year of verifiable experience with same or similar manufacturing equipment and tasks as those in place in assigned work area(s)
- Must pass the company's standard mechanical aptitude evaluation for mechanics
- Must possess basic personal computer skills sufficient enough to navigate menus and select, open and print documents
- Hazardous Waste Management training must be completed within six months of entering the job and annually each year thereafter
- Eye protection in the form of approved safety glasses with side shields or approved safety goggles is required
- Approved steel-toe safety shoes are required
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 25 lbs. unaided
- Ability to push a loaded production buggy weighing as much as 1,500 lbs
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 3 hours at a time
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs
- Ability to grasp and feel small parts
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (a/k/a green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1158 or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
- Not a convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year

- Not renounced his or her United States Citizenship

- Not convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
- Must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national; (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (a/k/a green card holder); (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1157; or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1158 or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
