Job Summary
Pack shelves and bins according to laid-down standards while maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within the warehouse. Listen to customer requests, provide required products or services, and advise shoppers on items in a courteous manner. Unpack, stack, and store stock in tidy and safe ways following correct layouts to minimize damage. Maintain a constant high standard for routine tasks while displaying urgency to complete duties efficiently. Work shifts to meet operational requirements and remain flexible and multi-skilled.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Ability to communicate in English
- Being customer minded by seeing situations through the eyes of the customer and responding positively
- Excellent communication skills by listening attentively, responding appropriately and talking in a clear, understandable manner
- Display a sense of urgency in constantly striving to complete tasks in the shortest possible time
- Perform routine tasks at a constant high standard
- Develop self by constantly looking for opportunities to improve/grow self
- Willing to be flexible and multi-skilled
- Able to work shifts to meet operational requirements
