Job Summary
Shelf Merchandiser at Commissary located at Camp Pendleton (part-time, 25 hours/week). Responsibilities include replenishing shelves, end caps, and displays; straightening merchandise; rotating products using LIFO; moving products from warehouse to sales floor; disposing of packaging; consolidating pallets; checking for expired products; maintaining a clean warehouse; observing safety rules; knowing company brands and products. Requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending/stretching, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Indoor grocery environment with exposure to drafts, heat, noise, and dust. Schedule includes night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Military base access strongly preferred. Drug screening required. Equal employment opportunity statements included.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a grocery/warehouse setting
- Ability to work indoors in a grocery store environment
- Possess reliable base-access credentials or ability to obtain military base access
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
