Job Summary
Operate and maintain refrigeration systems at the Shelbyville Tyson facility. Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting ammonia and air compressors, thermal fluid heaters, room intakes/exhausts, steam boilers and chiller water systems; learn Tyson SAP to process work orders and document daily activities; complete HAZMAT certification and required safety training; perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing/pulling, and lifting 70 lbs+, in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces; work 3rd shift with evenings and weekends; utilize math for machinery-related computations; meet education/training criteria in Industrial Maintenance/Refrigeration and have 3-6 years of related experience (or 5-6 years alternative) to qualify for the role; prior experience with industrial maintenance/refrigeration is required.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial Maintenance/Refrigeration Training Course or schooling in an Industrial Maintenance/Refrigeration Training Program
- 3-5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance/Refrigeration OR 5-6 years minimum in Industrial Maintenance/Refrigeration role
- HAZMAT certification and completion of safety training
- ability to lift 70lbs+ and perform physical tasks
- proficiency in learning SAP software for work orders and daily documentation
