Job Summary
Assist with HVAC unit swap outs, including removal of existing rooftop units and installation of new systems. Ruin PVC drain lines and copper refrigerant lines according to specifications while hanging sheet metal ductwork and installing hangers and supports. Perform basic on-site fabrication as needed across multiple job sites throughout the county. This first shift opportunity pays up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Candidates must have previous HVAC and/or sheet metal installation experience, knowledge of reading blueprints, and their own tools. All PPE must be worn, and a clean background with a JLA badge is required to access secured job sites.
Required Qualifications
- previous HVAC and/or sheet metal installation experience
- knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
- own sheet metal and/or HVAC tools
- clean background to access secured job sites (including jail facilities)
- capable of obtaining a JLA badge or already have a current badge
- reliable
- able to adapt to different project locations
