Job Summary
As a Sheetmetal Foreman, you will lead a team of three or more workers in trades and labor work, demonstrating expertise in the sheetmetal trade. Key responsibilities include assigning tasks, ensuring availability of required materials and plans, maintaining a current knowledge of procedures and policies, and checking work progress to ensure compliance with instructions and deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise and schedule multiple projects are essential, along with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ verifiable experience in sheetmetal trade
- Thorough knowledge of sheetmetal blueprints, specifications and codes
- Thorough knowledge of other major craft blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of all sheetmetal system
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with employees and clients on a professional level
- Ability to supervise multiple employees
- Ability to schedule projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
