Job Summary
Sheet Metal Youth Apprentice role for high school juniors and seniors; part-time position aligned with student schedules. Duties include assisting apprentices and journeymen, using hand/power tools, reading blueprints/schematics, selecting materials, cutting/bending/shaping sheet metal, welding and assembling pieces, performing specialized tasks with on-the-job training, maintaining records, and promoting organization values; requires safety awareness, attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work with tools and machinery in a general manufacturing environment. Education: active high school student pursuing a diploma; valid driver’s license or reliable transportation; familiarity with power tools a plus. Location: Windsor, Wisconsin, United States; in-person work. Salary: $21.60/hour (~$44,928/year when annualized).
