Job Summary
Fabricate, install, repair, and replace ducting, cladding, and sheet metal components on critical plant equipment at Bayswater Power Station during a major outage. Carry out these tasks while adhering to strict safety protocols and working effectively within a team environment. The role involves Monday-to-Saturday rostering from 7am to 6pm and 7pm to 6am, with staggered start dates from mid-September through late November. Candidates must hold a Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade and relevant confined spaces and working at heights qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
- Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E)
- Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 3 years)
- Construction white card
- Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
