Job Summary
Design, fabricate, and install custom modifications on assigned HVAC projects using hand tools, welding, and assembly skills. Prep components for painting, maintain tools and work areas, and document daily time, quality checks, and parts logs. Coordinate with project managers, trade teams, and purchasing personnel to gather materials, anticipate difficulties, and control expenses. Assist other trades, lead meetings, and provide technical support at customer sites as needed. Maintain project files and forward reports to the next production center while adhering to safety policies and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
- Flexibility to occasionally work in other company departments when needed
- Flexibility to occasionally travel with occasional overnight stays

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Must occasionally lift with assistance up to 80 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years sheet metal fabrication and experience preferred
- An understanding for safe and efficient operation of all equipment required
- Welding certification(s) are preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred
