Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and modify aircraft airframe components and structural assemblies using technical manuals, engineering data, and precision measuring tools. Assess maintenance requirements, provide technical information for repairs outside approved data scope, and perform approved repair operations on sheet metal and mechanical assemblies. Document all actions per company and FAA regulations while maintaining a safe, clean working environment. Requires FAA regulatory knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and production prints, and ability to read precision instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of structures and hand tools
- Well versed in the use of production and repair-related prints/drawings
- Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation, and application
- Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate level computer skills including basic use of MS Outlook (or other e-mail application), Word, and Excel
