Sheet Metal Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Coordinate daily sheet metal operations for a 10–15 person team, prioritizing activities and driving continuous improvement through BPS principles. Mentor new hires and cross-train associates while interpreting work instructions, technical drawings, and special handling sheets to guide fabrication and assembly. Conduct inspections, perform functional tests, and manage rework of non-conforming units to uphold quality standards and safety protocols. Requires high school diploma, proficiency in manual/power tools, and ability to work overtime and rotate between departments. Reports to the Area Supervisor at FHP Manufacturing, a leader in geothermal heat pump production.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (10–15 people)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to work overtime when requested
- Must be flexible to work in other departments when requested
- Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow directions, and understand and execute safety and quality procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation
