Job Summary
Experienced Sheet Metal Roofer / Copper Craftsman responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and restoring architectural sheet metal systems including copper, stainless steel, and coated metals; perform copper work such as flashing, gutters, downspouts, bay/window roofs, and decorative elements; install standing seam, flat seam, and soldered metal roofing systems; perform detailed craftsmanship on historic and architecturally significant buildings; maintain safe, professional job sites and follow company safety standards; collaborate with a team of highly skilled craftspeople and preservation specialists; travel to various job sites with paid travel time and logistics support provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in sheet metal roofing or copper craftsmanship (architectural or historic work preferred)
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, soldering, seaming, and flashing details
- Experience working with copper and other architectural metals
- Comfort working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 4 points, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
