Sheet Metal Mechanics (Journeyman & Helpers)

Install assemblies including flashing, pipes, ducts, and gutters in supportive frameworks while selecting appropriate gauges and materials per specifications. Fabricate, alter, and repair parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, and drills to fasten seams with welds, bolts, and rivets. Transport prefabricated units to job locations, maneuver them into position, and secure metal roof panels by interlocking and fastening edges. Develop efficient material layouts, convert blueprints into shop drawings, and inspect all components for code conformance using measuring instruments. Maintain equipment and perform necessary repairs. Candidates must possess commercial experience, reliable transportation, and pass a drug screen.
