Job Summary
Assemble and install metal duct and fiberglass board systems, reading blueprints and shop drawings to guide spiral, rectangular, and double wall installations. Execute all phases of duct work, including understanding connectors, hanger layout, and field measuring. Organize work areas, maintain hand tools, and lift heavy materials at heights while climbing ladders and navigating confined spaces. Operate power tools and machinery in outdoor elements and noisy environments, following job-site instructions and multitasking across various ongoing projects. Requires OSHA 10 or 30 certification and personal sheet metal hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in any types of sheet metal and fiberglass, duct work installation on commercial/residential projects
- Must have own Sheet Metal hand tools
- Must be able and willing to follow job-site instructions
- Lift heavy materials and not be afraid of heights
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles
- Climbing stairs
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Operating machinery and/or power tools
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind
- Noisy environment
- Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds
- 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
