Job Summary
Program Amada punch and laser equipment, TRUMPF press brakes, and HAAS CNC mills while reviewing drawings, models, flat patterns, and job requirements. Create efficient nests and programs, develop bend sequences and forming instructions, and support operators by troubleshooting production issues. Maintain accurate program files with revision control and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Scheduling. Requires strong sheet metal shop experience in flat pattern development, nesting, tooling, and bend deductions. Ideal for a candidate with Amada, TRUMPF, and HAAS expertise and familiarity with software like Mastercam, SolidWorks, or SigmaNEST within an ISO/AS9100 environment.
Required Qualifications
- Sheet metal programming experience
- Ability to read blueprints and customer drawings
- Knowledge of flat pattern development, bend deductions, tooling, nesting, and material utilization
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- AP100, Dr. ABE, VPSS, FabriWIN, SigmaNEST, SolidWorks, TruTops, Boost, Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar software
