Job Summary
Interpret detailed blueprints and specifications to fabricate sheet metal components; operate and set up CNC laser cutting, milling, lathes, stamping presses, plasma cutters, and press brakes to shape parts; inspect with precision tools (micrometers, calipers) for accuracy; perform welding to join components; move materials with forklifts and cranes; conduct quality inspections per GD&T; assemble parts into final products with attention to detail and safety; maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold high standards of craftsmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- sheet metal fabrication experience
- ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- experience operating CNC equipment (laser cutters, plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes)
- welding experience
- ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
- ability to perform quality inspections and GD&T
