Job Summary
Fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety procedures. Apply mechanical principles using proper tools and equipment in alignment with RQ's mission, vision, and values. Work is performed on military installations in Jacksonville, Florida, and Kings Bay, Georgia, with compensation at Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates. Candidates must provide evidence of identity, U.S. work authorization, and pass a Department of Defense background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 4 years of journey-level sheet metal experience in commercial construction or facility operations
- Must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
- Must successfully pass a drug screening
- Must successfully pass a commercial criminal background check
- Must successfully pass a stricter Department of Defense background check
