Job Summary
Prepare tools and installation equipment, provide verbal instructions and sketches, and organize materials for worker efficiency. Inspect and test installations, call for code enforcement inspections, and mark-up as-built drawings daily. Enforce safety policies, manage timekeeping, and coordinate expediting of tools and materials. Requires high school diploma, three years of commercial construction foreman experience, and OSHA compliance knowledge. 40-60% of time spent traveling to job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years commercial construction experience holding a Foreman role
- Leadership skills that motivate, build respect, and express a firm and fair attitude when directing workers
- Experience enforcing company safety programs and compliance with OSHA regulations for a safe workplace
- Management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 40-60% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
