Job Summary
Direct the installation, modification, and repair of HVAC sheet metal and related systems while performing a wide range of skilled construction tasks. Provide guidance to a crew of journeymen, mechanics, and apprentices, ensuring job quality and customer satisfaction across assigned projects. Interpret specifications, BIM models, and contract documents to plan procedures, staffing, and scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors to prevent delays. As a working foreman, resolve construction problems, attend job site and office meetings, and manage teams of eight to ten individuals to maintain high productivity. Work in varying temperatures, inclement weather, and confined spaces while lifting up to 50 lbs and using heavy machinery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial experience in HVAC sheet metal operations field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Prior experience as a HVAC Sheet Metal foreman
- Proven ability to effectively manage and lead teams of 8 to 10 individuals, ensuring high productivity, team cohesion, and successful project outcomes
- Extensive knowledge of all HVAC sheet metal systems installation
- Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to reach overhead
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms

- Must be able to work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels
- Must be able to be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust

- Must be able to use construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certified
- OSHA 30 certified
- Prior military experience
