Job Summary
Assemble architectural sheet metal products using hand tools, CNC press brakes, and spot welders while meeting productivity, reliability, and quality targets. Comply with safety recommendations and maintain a clean work environment. Read tape measures, perform basic math, and follow procedures to ensure products meet quality standards. Identify at least two opportunities for continuous process and quality improvement annually and work with the area lead to implement new products, processes, and standardized procedures. Obtain beginner-level part identification and apply training within six months of hire. Manage multiple tasks of varying priority and communicate effectively with different departments.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to read a tape measure
- Perform basic math functions
- Comply with all safety recommendations and requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Partner and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement, quality and overall process and product development
- Identify at least two opportunities for continuous process and quality improvement per year
- Work with area lead to accomplish these ideas
- Follow procedures to ensure products meet quality standards
- Obtain beginner level in part identification and application
- Treat all team members, customers and internal / external suppliers with dignity and respect
- Assist in the implementation of new products, processes, standardized procedures, work instruction and training
- Obtain minimum productivity measurements that are defined by your team lead
- Must be willing to move to different departments and adapt to their processes
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must properly manage multiple tasks of varying priority
- Effectively communicate through email and in meetings with different company departments and personnel

- Soldering and hand tool experience
