Job Summary
Sheet Metal Fabricator responsible for safely performing metal fabrication across various Olympia manufacturing needs, reading work orders, operating fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, shaping machines), spot welding and forming metals, and ensuring products meet exact specifications. Must read tape measures, interpret work orders, train entry-level employees, and maintain quality and safety standards. First shift, 7:00am–3:30pm, Pittston, PA. Exposed to fumes/particulates and moving parts; able to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires high school education or GED, 1+ year sheet metal experience, and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school education or GED equivalent
- 1+ year sheet metal worker experience
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals, with basic geometry skills being a plus
- Must be able to problem solve, manage time, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication and organizational skills and extreme attention to detail and safety
