Job Summary
Sheet Metal Fabricator responsible for cutting, bending, forming, and finishing sheet metal for commercial roofing and architectural cladding using CNC equipment, press brakes, and benders/folders. Duties include reading fabrication tickets and work orders, operating fabrication equipment safely, welding/bolting/riveting/soldering as needed, maintaining shop organization, assisting with inventory and deliveries, and upholding quality workmanship and safety in a shop-centric environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- OSHA 10 Construction Industry Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
- Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related construction/manufacturing environment (required)
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, press brakes, and benders/folders
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication tickets and work orders
- Basic welding, bolting, riveting, and soldering skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
