Job Summary
Sheet Metal Fabricator on 2nd shift responsible for preparing, fabricating, and cutting metal products for assembly using a variety of tools and machines (presses, shears, saws, lathes). Duties include laying out and examining stock to specifications, setting up and operating brake press tooling, reading blueprints and work orders, inspecting tolerances, cleaning and lubricating machines, and moving materials with a forklift. Cross-training in welding and metalworking techniques when appropriate. Must read blueprints, apply decimal measurements, and ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused production with reliable, timely workmanship.
