Job Summary
Sheet Metal Fabricator to produce high-quality custom/specialty fabricated components in a shop environment. Responsibilities include fabricating rectangular and round duct from galvanized steel, stainless, aluminum, carbon steel, and PVC; producing welded ductwork for kitchen exhaust and other applications; fabricating specialty components such as drain pans, belt guards, hoppers, roof curbs/adaptors, platforms/catwalks, and breechings; ensuring drawings and prints are followed, measuring and fitting parts, welding and finishing as needed, maintaining a safe work area, and using shop equipment in a high-capability fabrication environment; benefits include Health Insurance, 401(k), and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience OR equivalent combination of training and hands-on shop experience
- Ability to fabricate from prints/sketches and follow specifications
- Comfortable working with common ductwork and fabrication materials (galvanized, stainless, aluminum, carbon steel; PVC where applicable)
- Basic math and measurement skills (fractions/decimals), layout capability, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift/move materials and stand for extended periods (shop environment)
- Welding experience across multiple metals (stainless/aluminum/galvanized/carbon steel) is ideal
