Job Summary
Regional Sales Representative for Mate’s sheet metal fabrication tooling and laser consumables in Wisconsin. You’ll partner with customers to boost productivity, demonstrate Mate’s precision tooling and consumables, build and maintain relationships with existing customers and OEM dealers, conduct on-site product demonstrations and customer meetings (in-person and via teleconferencing), travel up to 75% (including overnight trips), and stay current on products and market trends while using CRM to track activities. Strong technical knowledge in sheet metal fabrication and excellent communication skills are essential to develop opportunities and close deals in the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on sheet metal fabrication or operations experience (punch presses, lasers, or press brakes required)
- Residence within the territory (Wisconsin)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
- Strong technical and communication skills — with the confidence to present, problem-solve, and close
- Sales experience preferred (but your technical know-how is key!)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED required
