Job Summary
Oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications to prepare estimates and designs for construction sheet metal projects. Determine labor and equipment costs while preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing across different levels of completion. Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meetings with owners, clients, and engineers, serving as the company interface between the owner and architect. Review quotes and estimates with the project team to assess project risks and coordinate a team to develop comprehensive estimates. Requires five years of experience in the related field, advanced computer skills with estimating software, and the ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED)
- five years experience in related field
- working on projects ranging from one hundred thousand to five million dollars
- advanced computer skills with estimating software
