Job Summary
Welding/fabricator role responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding metal components into finished products and subassemblies per blueprints and engineering specs. Tasks include operating fabrication equipment, hand tools, material handling, layout, tack-welding, cutting, grinding, and ensuring work meets quality, dimensional, and safety standards. Requires reading engineering drawings, using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), lifting up to 75 lbs, and working up to 12-hour shifts in a production environment with PPE and safe-work practices.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years welding/fabrication experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Ability to use measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, depth gauges, and fixed gauges
