Job Summary
Operate shear cutters in a fabrication shop to provide cut material for pre-fabrication of generator enclosures. Read/interpret drawings, blueprints, SOPs, and measurement tools to ensure accuracy; select proper tooling and dies and adjust as needed. Inspect parts for conformance, monitor machines for optimum performance, and perform basic troubleshooting. Maintain safety and a clean, organized work area; collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Requires 1+ years of shear cutter experience, ability to read a tape measure, and authorization to work in the United States full-time; pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. Outdoors work environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, paint thinner, and fumes; PPE usage expected.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience operating a shear cutter
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Must be able to pass a background check
