Job Summary
Design, develop, integrate, and administer SharePoint sites for the DoD medical center, including upgrades, conversions, and workflow creation from conception to deployment. Write technical and end-user documentation, optimize interfaces for performance, and create how-to-manuals. Analyze site data and traffic to maximize online impact, while performing troubleshooting, testing, and evaluation support. Research and apply Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and patches. Preform training sessions for users, subject matter experts, and support staff. Work closely with graphic designers and project managers to conceive web pages and complex workflows. Maintain a secure SharePoint environment for several hundred users, ensuring compliance with NACLC investigations and required security certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience developing and/or administering SharePoint with a focus on SharePoint 2010 including creation of sites, sub-sites, and sub areas
- Ability to develop and implement all necessary operational processes to insure a well-functioning and secure SharePoint environment with several hundred users
- Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and migrations
- Ability to design and implement 'best practice' architectures for SharePoint servers and data storage
- Must be well versed in the setup, configuration, and management of SharePoint environments
- Expert user in Remedy and MS Visio
- Must be willing to have a NACLC investigation
- Must have an active Comptia Security+ CE, or SSCP, SCNP, GSEC within 90 days
