Job Summary
Senior SharePoint System Administrator to support a large DoD IT contract. Responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining SharePoint services across multiple enclaves, including load balancing, PKI authentication, and claims-based authentication; manage site setup, permissions, and migrations; support O365/M365 applications (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online); coordinate with customers, prepare technical findings and After Action Reports, and support 24/7/365 operations with after-hours triage. Requires strong technical, customer-oriented, and communicative skills; experience with ITSM (ServiceNow) and governance/documentation (SOPs, Knowledge Articles); familiarity with ICAM integrations and upgrade projects; BS with 8 years of relevant experience or higher, DoD 8140.03 certifications preferred; US Citizenship and TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR Associate's with 10 years OR High School Diploma with 12 years
- DoDM 8140.03 (formerly DoD 8570) – IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher)
- Strong experience with SharePoint technologies including SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, SE and SharePoint Online
- Experience configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems
- Experience with managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms
- Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication
- Experience with load balancers such as F5 BigIP Load Traffic Manager or Citrix NetScaler
- Experience with M365/O365 cloud offerings such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint Online
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Clearance: US Citizenship; TS/SCI with CI Poly required for the position
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to perform scheduled maintenance during approved maintenance windows
- Experience with incident analysis and root-cause analysis or after-action reporting
