Job Summary
Shared-Time Kindergarten Teacher role for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsible for delivering kindergarten instruction aligned to state standards, developing and implementing a strong curriculum for early learners, and applying cooperative learning approaches and developmentally appropriate practices. Requires understanding of child development, ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs, and maintaining confidentiality of student and parent information. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work well with colleagues and administrators, lead activity programs for children, and maintain a positive, organized, and self-directed work style. Must have strong verbal and written communication, be proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and pass required background checks and CPR/First Aid training. Required Qualifications
- Must be certified by the State of Michigan as an elementary teacher with Kindergarten endorsement
- Must possess or be willing to complete training to become Adult/Infant/CPR/First Aid Certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work as part of a team
