Shared Services Staff Accountant

Shared Services Staff Accountant will create journal entries for C&R properties moved to shared services (cash, accruals, prepaids, etc.), perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare and distribute daily revenue flash reports to business owners, analyze financial data to standardize the C&R COA, conduct variance analyses, identify trends, and recommend improvements. The role drives process improvements including standard/ad-hoc reporting, tools, and Excel dashboards, develops automated reporting/forecasting tools to increase productivity, reviews reconciliations for adequate support, researches and resolves variances, designs system/process improvements to prevent repeated errors, assists in allocation models/processes for Shared Service costs (e.g., insurance premiums, medical claims, PCard reimbursements), supports review of other Shared Services sub-functions, and acts as a liaison to C&R for setting up new GL accounts and providing accounting guidance.
