Job Summary
Shared Services Analyst to support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Procurement by delivering data-driven insights, identifying process improvement opportunities, and enabling automation initiatives. Partners across finance, procurement, and information services to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and standardize processes across the enterprise. Responsibilities include evaluating new approaches for process improvements, performing complex research and resolution of unapplied cash and payment discrepancies, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure accurate cash application and payments with strong internal controls, supporting auditors with requests, thriving in a fast-paced environment, working in cross-functional teams, documenting processes and SOPs to support SOX compliance, and ensuring GAAP compliance for financial statements. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and practical experience in accounting/Shared Services with ERP and reporting tools, plus strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 3 years of general accounting experience preferred (strong background in reconciliation activity is essential)
- Experience in Shared Services, AP, AR, Procurement, or related finance operations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle) and reporting tools
- Knowledge of High Radius cloud-based solutions is a plus
- An analytical, detail-oriented, problem solver who works well as part of a team and independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with process automation tools and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of both internal and external customers
- Ability to multi-task and produce accurate and timely results
