Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities living in the provider's home, including supervision, teaching, and assisting with daily activities to foster independence and safety. Responsibilities include integrating individuals into everyday life, coordinating personal care, and accompanying transports and community outings. Requires CPR and First Aid training; flexible schedule with the ability to work from home; option to handle billing; long-term home-based care commitment; eligibility to host multiple individuals if space allows.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license and car insurance
- Fewer than 6 points in the last two years on motor vehicle record
- Spare bedroom and willingness to share your home
- At least 18 years of age
