Job Summary
Transport the individual to medical appointments, activities, and daily outings while maintaining a safe and clean home environment. Assist with daily living skills and support individual goals through consistent, nurturing care. Complete monthly paperwork and ensure all adults in the home meet safety and health requirements. Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record to facilitate transportation needs. This contracted Host Home position offers flexible, home-based care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with monthly payments covering room, board, and daily rates.
Required Qualifications
- All adults in the home must pass a Criminal Background Check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have experience providing support to individual(s) with disabilities
- Meet home/apartment safety and health requirements
- Complete pre-service training requirements
- Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Have good judgment
- Have a positive attitude
