Job Summary
Join the Waltham Forest Shared Lives Scheme as a Shared Lives Carer, providing support to adults aged 18 and over with various care needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and sensory disabilities. This role is suitable for those with a spare bedroom willing to share their home and community life while offering care, ensuring individuals reach independence in a family environment. Carers will be self-employed and responsible for their own tax and National Insurance. Insurance coverage and ongoing support are provided, along with a fee starting from £600 per week.
