Share a Cuppa, a Chat and Some Company - Community Social Volunteer

Conduct regular visits with a client who enjoys gardening, animals, and craft activities like knitting and embroidery. Engage in meaningful conversations over a cuppa or during a relaxing drive, discussing music, British television programs, and shared interests to reduce social isolation. Maintain weekly or fortnightly contact between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. This volunteer role supports HammondCare's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, to promote links between elderly people and the local community.
