Job Summary
Shake & Shingle Inspector duties include visiting mills to perform grading inspections of cedar shakes and shingles, generating inspection reports, and coordinating with clients. Responsible for learning and applying shake & shingle grading rules and relevant standards, ensuring compliance with internal quality and HR policies, and traveling up to 75%. Requires experience in industrial settings, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong written and oral communication, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Must reside in the United States and be legally eligible to work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar industrial role
- Technical diploma or combination of education and experience
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and have good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
- Able to travel 75% of the time
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
