Job Summary
Maintain production on all machinery within the automated cell to meet department performance and quality objectives. Perform basic tool changeovers, offsets, and maintenance while chamfering and loading raw material onto bar feeders. Rework non-conforming product, assist with packaging and handling, and report any process deviations or safety issues to the supervisor immediately. Operate machinery efficiently, use inspection tools like calipers and micrometers, and make necessary adjustments to ensure specifications are met. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe while participating in the Continuous Improvement Process.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have cooperative attitude, necessary to work effectively with others
- Must have acceptable attendance
- Must be able to move quickly from machine to machine and make necessary adjustments
- Must be able to fill out all necessary paperwork accurately
- Must be able to read and understand prints/drawings
- Must have the ability to operate a fork truck and motorized crane
- Must be able to accurately read all necessary inspection equipment
- Must be able to use and understand basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
