Job Summary
Inspect and repair plumbing and HVAC equipment while notifying management of hazards endangering guests or employees. Maintain, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctioning systems including refrigerators, freezers, restroom fixtures, and chillers. Remove defective parts using hand or power tools, soldering equipment, and pipe benders. Test systems with multi-meters, manifold gauges, and leak detectors. Read drawings, manuals, and schematics. Keep daily duty logs and accurate preventative maintenance records. Respond to work orders to maintain safe park operation. Adhere to park policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certificate or Associates Degree from accredited trade/vocational school
- Strong knowledge of the maintenance and installation of HVAC/Refrigeration equipment
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
- Strong experience in troubleshooting equipment and replacing faulty components
- Universal EPA Technician Certification preferred, but Level 2 or 3 is acceptable
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to professionally interact with other shops and various departments
- Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management
- Ability to write, speak and comprehend English
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time, working in tight spaces and climbing
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA rules/ regulations
- Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, nights, weekends and holidays
- Valid Drivers' License and clean DMV report
- Employees are required to supply their own hand tools
