Job Summary
Ensure characters are made up quickly while providing a quality product using special effects makeup, prosthetics, and artistic talent. Daily use and maintenance of Airbrush, including troubleshooting application issues, touchups, and removals to ensure show quality and approved designed looks. Apply foam latex prosthetics and FX in individually or group settings while maintaining equipment, supplies, and workstation cleanliness. Clean worn masks and place them in their proper location at the end of the night. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment requiring above-average communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Available for all operating days from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026, with a payrate of $15.50/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work all operating days (FridaysâSundays) from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026
- Must have 2-3 years FX make-up artist experience
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot and quickly clean airbrush equipment on the spot
- Must have the ability to airbrush and apply prosthetics in a fast-paced manner
- Be available to work flexible hours, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Continued standing and bending
- Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
- Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition
- Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 10 hours a day
- walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces
- Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
